Craft-Tabulous University was started by Nina Lashley, a lover of DIY's and all things crafts. Nina is a self taught crafter and have been crafting for over 25 years. She spends countless days and hours learning new skills through various you tubers, other crafters, classes, crafting groups and Google.
In 2015 Nina decided to purchase a cricut machine for her daycare. Buying the machine was meant to be an addition to the arts and craft time for the kids and to help with creating festive daycare decorations. Little that Nina knew the purchase of that one machine would change her life and set her on a awesome crafting journey. Within 6 months of the purchase of her cricut machine, Nina taught herself how to create beautiful and unique gifts from customizing home decor, drinkware, monogram items, shirts and so much more, it was not long before family and friends was asking Nina to create special items for them as gifts or for their own personal use.
On December 21st of 2016 Nina shared on her Facebook page a custom gift she had made for someone. That post literally had Nina creating last minute Christmas gifts literally days before Christmas and before she knew it she had made $1500 in only 3 days.
As time went on Nina studied and learned how to create a plethora of unique gifts and items. Her one machine quickly turned into her owning 5 machines, 3 heat presses, 2 mini presses, 3 mug presses and a variety of equipment and supplies. In 2019 Nina made the decision to take a break from running a daycare to pursue her crafting business full time.
Nina is now a full time crafter that continues to create for family and friends, She also participates in various craft shows, community shows, and festivals where she markets her hand created goods.
Nina inspires other crafters on their journey by sharing her knowledge and teaching craft classes at Micheals craft store and through her business Craft-Tabulous University.
Also known as the cricut ladi Nina currently has over 25 craft students under her that she mentors, and guide them on their crafting journey.
